Frequently Asked Questions
How does this work?
Once you give us a call, we’ll take down your information and send it over to whichever department you have asked for. That department will then call you to set up an appointment to meet with you (or will go by and look at the work on their own, if you so specify).
At that appointment our staff will evaluate your unique situation and let you know what they recommend. They will then give you a quote which you can either accept or reject.
If it is for landscape, turf, or plant healthcare work, the work will then be scheduled and completed as ordered.
If it is tree work, once you have accepted the quote, our scheduler will call you to set a day for us to come do the work. Please be aware that our schedule is variable due to storms and rain delays.
The tree crew will arrive on the scheduled day and complete the work. If there are any large logs that cannot fit into our chopper trucks, they will be left for the log loader. The log loader will usually arrive to pick up the logs shortly after the work is completed, though it may not be that day. Once the logs have been cleared, we send out the stump grinder to grind down the stump, if necessary. Please keep in mind that the stump crew might not be out on the same day as your tree work is done. We haven’t forgotten you!
Finally, once all of the work has been completed, regardless of department, an invoice will be sent to you via mail or e-mail. You may pay the invoice via check or credit card over the phone. We accept VISA, MasterCard and Discover.
When will my work be scheduled?
Due to the highly variable nature of working outdoors, in the elements, it is difficult to pin down an exact time of when your work might be done. The process of getting an Arborist out to your house for an appointment, sending a quote, getting it approved getting your work scheduled, and finally getting crew out to you is a time consuming process!
Because we want to do the very best job for you and make sure that we are both on the same page, all quotes must be approved by you before any work can take place.
Keep in mind, that if it is rainy, we may have to reschedule for the safety of our workers. If your yard is wet, we may have to reschedule in order to preserve your lawn. If there are a lot of storms, we may have to reschedule due to excessive storm damage.
Rest assured, though, that we do our best to get your tree work done as quickly as possible.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept checks, as well as VISA, MasterCard, and Discover.
What are your office hours?
We are available Monday through Friday from 7:00am until 4:30pm.
Are you licensed, bonded and insured?
We are! We are also an A+, accredited member of the Better Business Bureau.
How far outside of Nashville will you work?
We generally work within a 30 mile radius of Nashville, though we have done work outside of the area before. If you have any question about whether or not you are in our service area, simply call the office at 615-833-6638. We’ll be happy to check for you!
How much do you charge?
For a quote, nothing! However, when it comes to services, everyone’s landscaping and property is different, therefore, we cannot properly give you a price without seeing the work that needs to be done.
We do strive to work with you and your budget and always give fair and honest prices.
